Does anyone know Catholic journalist
John Allen's connection to Notre Dame High School?
He mentioned NDHS in one of his book introductions -- I think he thanked the journalism department or something like that. From his phrasing, it sounded as if he had been a student there in the 1990's. But I think that's impossible -- he's almost certainly older than that. So I was wondering if maybe he was on the faculty there?
He is now world-renowned as a journalist who covers the Catholic church, so I thought his connection to NDHS should be mentioned on the
Notre Dame High School page and on the
John L. Allen, Jr. page. -

He was the journalism teacher (and I believe an English teacher) there for several years during the 1990s. He was also a vice principal for a time. I was a student there during the period. Interesting guy.— Preceding

FURTHER INFORMATION:
John Allen taught English and Journalism at Notre Dame HS (Sherman Oaks, CA) in the early 1990's. He was also moderator/adviser for the school newspaper. He was Vice Principal for the 1994-95 and 1995-96 school years. He stepped down from the VP post for the 1996-1997 school year, and eventually resigned from NDHS during that school year (around January, 1997). He briefly wrote free-lance articles for various Catholic publications before landing a permanent position with the National Catholic Reporter. —Preceding

Does anyone know the
American Nazi Party's connection to Notre Dame High School?
The organization was mentioned obscurely in some school paperwork dealing with teacher recommendations. -- It seemed like a considerable number of teachers were listed as having previous experience with the American Nazi Party on their job application forms-- But I think that's impossible -- why would a Catholic high school even consider teachers connected with Nazism of any kind? So I was wondering if maybe the party or its tenets are mentioned somewhere in the school handbook? —Preceding

Someone keeps putting back Jerry Livitsanos but without a source or wikipedia article, so there is no way to know if he actually went to the school and if he is notable. Please provide
sources or his name should be removed. Thanks.

Jerry Livitsanos is an indie Senior of the Notre Dame community. His number one choice is Columbia University and he loves the album "Liquid Swords" by the GZA. He is a notable source and is currently taking up the art of DJing.— Preceding

DJ AC is the masta mixer while Sensei Purple and Jerry would deal with samples, layers, and keyboard although they would not be limited to their positions. Their current goal is to attain Ableton Live, so they can start their take over of the electro/dance/house/experimental hip-hop world. Imagine if the RZA and Justice produced a child, and that kid went on to have an affair with Flying Lotus and gave birth to an illegitimate child. Sensei Purple is the kind of guy you don't mess with, he's hardcore with a style of his own. He's intelligent with a sense for music that is atypical but you can still feel the beats, right up in your veins. Sensei Purple is for the children.— Preceding

It might be worth noting that a NDHS circa 1996 Greek was quietly released after molesting a male student. It was very quickly hushed/covered up. —Preceding
