I knew Hilda Kuper when I was a child, before she passed away in 1992. I have visited Swaziland only once: for two days, around 1997 or 1998. I was still young and knew even less about Swaziland than I do now. In the course of that trip, I met some members of the Swazi royal family, while visiting the village in which they lived. They kindly and unexpectedly took me to lunch at a nearby restaurant, and were friendly towards me on account of my being related to Hilda Kuper, but sadly I was too young and uninformed to understand or remember precisely which members they were. Other than this kindness, which carried no obligation, I was not hosted by them, nor have I had contact with them before or since. To be absolutely clear: all of these occurrences happened before Wikipedia even existed."
