So was the existence of a marketing campain citing the 'nauga' is an urban myth? Could this be proven by citing a marketing person from Uniroyal. Given how recent this was, shouldn't be to hard to find out.

When Naugahyde was developed, in the nineteen-thirties, the company's name was US Rubber. Is there a policy on making references to a company's name agree with the current-day name? Rainbow-five ( talk) 02:02, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
