Was this order "instituted in 1984 by...Lieutenant Governor Jean-Pierre Côté" on the advice of the government or was it created by an Act of the National Assembly? I know quite a few provincial orders were done in that way. (I realize the LG has to give royal assent, so it would be technically accurate if the latter was the case, but I think it would be a little misleading to totally remove the National Assembly and leave only the LG's act of giving royal assent.) Furthermore, is there a citation showing that the Governor-in-Council awards this order? The one given in the ref tags doesn't say that anywhere.-- Ibagli ( Talk) 08:03, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
