I'm removing the deletion candidate notification, as the company manages data for most Democratic members of Congress and the current President of the United States, making it notable. PizzaFromMars ( talk) 16:52, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Since I am associated with this company, I wish to note that I am aware of WP:COI and if any user feels I am in violation of it, or am making edits with a bias, that I would be happy to talk about it. Just write a note on my talk page. Thanks! cOrneLlrOckEy ( talk) 20:18, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
According to Guccifer 2, he exploited a 0-day vulnerability in NGP VAN to download the emails:

Bernie Sanders campaign claims DNC voter data was leaked multiple times http://www.networkworld.com/article/3017052/security/bernie-sanders-campaign-suspended-dnc-staffer-fired-ngp-van.html https://blog.ngpvan.com/news/data-security-and-privacy — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.28.184.2 ( talk) 19:22, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
I believe the claims of limited access to VoteBuilder to be factually inaccurate. The cited source appears to be heavily biased against standing institutions including the DNC. The source did not mention any attempt to gather the other side of the story, which could have easily been a communication error. According to FEC filings, the Ventura campaign made payments to NGP VAN on 8/16/19 and 9/17/19, while the article was published on 9/3/19. [1] As of today's date, 5/19/20, the Ventura campaign has a job posting requiring "Willing to learn campaign technology including Hustle and Votebuilder." [2] Based on non-public information I know at least some other primary challengers in other states have access to VoteBuilder. 75.133.228.200 ( talk) 05:55, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
