Shouldn't the heading of this section be changed to "Some Mutagenic Variatels" or "Major Mutagenic Variatels" or something similar? If there are over 3,200 registered and ...over 1,000 mutant varietals of major staple crops were being grown world wide..., surely the heading of this section has to show some reason why only a few are mentioned. "Mutagenic Varietals" is a horrible heading! It's inaccurate both in regard that, as SylviaStanley notes, it does not properly convey the fact that the list is not meant to be exhaustive and in the fact that the listed varieties are not mutagenic. The correct wording here is "mutagenized". "Mutagenic" means mutation inducing.

is mutagenic. "Mutagenized" means the result of a mutagenic process. The plant varieties mentioned here have been mutagenized.
