Under the proposed agreement, through a transition period of several months following the execution of definitive agreements and the closing of the transaction, MCI would evaluate operations related to Setra in North America, and, where appropriate, integrate such operations with existing MCI facilities which will permit MCI and Daimler Buses to realize significant operating synergies. This planned partnership will allow Daimler Buses to better serve its customers through a broader service network, while strengthening Setra’s presence in North America.
What does this excruciating piece of PR babble actually mean? If anything at all. Skinsmoke ( talk) 03:50, 22 October 2014 (UTC)

I was told that Greyhound's use of MC-series buses followed the line's bad experience with a GMC model often remembered as a double-decker and that had been the subject of a lawsuit, and that Greyhound hired its own engineers for the MC series. A Greyhound driver told me this in the 1970s. I don't have a source. Nick Levinson ( talk) 01:12, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

Nobody has started a thread on this, but somebody tagged this for a possible merger with NFI Group. Let me state for the record that I Oppose such a merger in either direction, for the same reason I would oppose a merger between Mack and Brockway, or most companies that were acquired by another. --------- User:DanTD ( talk) 04:12, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
