It's not normal usage, in the sense that the noun "monocarpy" is very rarely used, whereas "monocarpic" is an extremely common adjective.

Umm...a. we're talking about noun usage here, and b. I'm responding to PaleCloudedWhite's question. And, c. article titles are supposed to be nouns.
