Ah hah, the bicycle monarchy page is born. Jolly good show. GoodDay ( talk) 23:09, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
I read that the 'eldest child' regardless of gender, is first in line to the throne. A referendum adopted it in June 2009. GoodDay ( talk) 20:19, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
"The last monarch of the ancient Danish ruling dynasty Christopher III of Denmark died in 1448." How as he of the ancient Danish ruling dynasty? He was as foreign as Christian I of Denmark; the last monarch of the ancient Danish ruling dynasty was Margaret I of Denmark.-- Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy ( talk) 20:45, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
Should we write that the Danish royal family and monarchy in general are amongst the popular royal families/monarchies in the world to the inhabitants? If I remember correctly, it's actually THE most popular. 83.89.59.170 ( talk) 15:13, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

This article should describe the legal immunity that not only the Monarch, but the entire Royal Family enjoys by virtue of article 25 of Kongeloven ( http://www.statsministeriet.dk/_p_5483.html). RicJac ( talk) 18:53, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
The History section describes the monarchy of Denmark as the fourth oldest in the world. It's generally agreed that the Japanese monarchy is the oldest, but which other two monarchies are older than the Danish one? Sakkura ( talk) 15:01, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

It seems to create some controversy if the Kingdom of Denmark should refer to Kingdom of Denmark or Danish realm (The unity of the Realm). I can't see any reason why Kingdom of Denmark shouldn't refer to Kingdom of Denmark, but lets take it here instead of these tedious edit wars. Please note that the Danish realm page is actually about the arrangement called The unity of the Realm within the kingdom. Kisualk ( talk) 19:12, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
