Glaberson's articles

While Glaberson's articles contain many things that don't appear anywhere else, I consciously decided not to use them as citations in the article's text. While I don't doubt the reporting, it just seemed to me that the articles are written for maximum entertainment value, rather than relating news. I wouldn't strongly object to them being used as sources, but I think they should stay in the External links section to provide visibility and ease of use for them. I see them as a narrative account, rather than "just the facts, ma'am". Mnnlaxer ( talk) 20:09, 22 September 2011 (UTC) reply

Do you also question his coverage of the torture and murder of Habibullah and Dilawar? I thought that coverage was rock solid. Geo Swan ( talk) 07:43, 4 October 2011 (UTC) reply
First, I'm not questioning his reporting. That was pretty clear. And I put the articles there, so I obviously value them. I'm going to have to look up Habibullah and Dilawar, never heard of them. Mnnlaxer ( talk) 21:02, 4 October 2011 (UTC) I don't see any Glaberson articles for Dilawar or Habibullah. Mnnlaxer ( talk) 21:06, 4 October 2011 (UTC) reply
Forgive my brain flatulence, I was thinking of fellow NYTimes reporter Tim Golden. Geo Swan ( talk) 18:46, 5 October 2011 (UTC) reply
