I think merging this with
Mojang would be highly stupid, as Minicraft is totally unrelated to Mojang. If it's going to be merged it will be better to merge it with
Markus Persson. Wagner utc17:55, 5 January 2012 (UTC)reply
Stupid was maybe a bit too far, but merging a game's article to a company that didn't even create the game's article is not really a good idea. Wagner utc20:51, 6 January 2012 (UTC)reply
I don't think the article should be merged to Persson's article for two reasons. 1) There is clearly enough coverage and content that this article deserves its own article, as the AfD is representing and 2) merging this to Persson would either cause a
WP:WEIGHT issue or would result in a significant loss of content, neither of which are desirable outcomes.

I say either delete it or merge it with Persson's page. I've seen pages that are based off of things more people are aware of get deleted, there is no way this game should have it's own page. — Preceding

Your argument doesn't reflect anything of policy or a real reason for merging it. Just because other stuff was deleted has nothing to do with this article and this situation. If by more aware of, you mean more reliable sources were discussing them than here, then perhaps those other deletions were done incorrectly.

There are plenty of good sources to establish the notability of this article. The article would lose significant content if merged with Persson's page (due to article weighting). Silver seren's completely right on this (and we often don't meet eye to eye on wiki issues).--

A recent remake was created on github called
Minicraft Plus. I think it should get a section, but I really am new to the whole wiki editing thing. It's not a dead project, and it has an active community.
