Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for
GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : *
Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) *
Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize
Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. *
Sport in the United Kingdom - the
Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
I have removed the template proposing this article for deletion on the following grounds:
The facility is the home ground for the English team AFC Fylde, and as such, has an interest to supporters.
The facility is used by the University of Central Lancaster and local sporting clubs, and as such, has an interest to those who use it.
As the facility is privately-owned, concise non-biased content on a single web page is difficult to find, and as such, makes this page relevant to those who have an interest in visiting or requiring information about the facility.
The article is linked to other pages, including the pages for the previous points.
I do not know why someone added the template saying this entry appears to be an advertisement for the facility, and quite frankly, I find that suggestion ludicrous. In creating this article, I took the approach of describing the facility in terms of history, resources and access, as well the relevant awards it has received, offset by criticisms that have been raised towards the facility i..e being through, and have cited numerous sources.. Personally, IMO I believe the article is balanced, and therefore believe to suggest the article appears to be an advertisement to be petty.
FYI I do not have ANY affiliations to this facility, especially not commercial interests. I currently live local to this area, and therefore wrote this article from the point of personal interest after discovering there wasn't a page for it.
