This is someone inaccurate, not all of the military history of China was about the PLA and Republic of China armies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.204.145.58 ( talk) 03:02, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
Large parts of Chinese military history are missing. There's no mention of the Korean War, invasion of Tibet Battle of Chamdo, Sino-Vietnamese War, annexation of the Parcel islands Battle of the Paracel Islands ... It would also be nice to see some analysis of Chinese military spending, perhaps as a percentage of GDP: contrary to what this article states, it seems to be fairly steady at a little over 2%, thus growing at say 8% as the economy increases. At the same time, I understand there's a move from low-tech and mass conscription to an all volunteer professional army equipped to a high standard.
Friends;
If I am not mistaken, this page should not be a Disambiguation Page, but a Broad-concept article, as explained at WP:DISAMBIG, in the section WP:CONCEPTDAB:
The advantage of a BCA is that according to WP:DABNOINCLUDE a DISAMBIG page does not have explanatory text or references.
If nobody objects in a week or so, I will change to BCA, add Category:Broad-concept articles, and re-organize the text. ch ( talk) 18:42, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
