Removed irrelevant questions about discharges. -- 70.160.31.126 09:09, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
It seems to me this article is almost entirely, if not completely, plagiarised from reference #4. There is no proper citation indicating this is the original source of the information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.159.0.47 ( talk) 12:18, 12 November 2015

" Recruits who receive this type of discharge as a result of a failure to complete basic training are not considered Veterans by the US Armed Forces and are not eligible to receive Veterans benefits."
A Veteran is a Veteran! And yes you can receive benefits with an ELS! It is on the VA's website. And...I DO! 2601:806:4301:C100:9034:D420:C264:5A1 ( talk) 02:17, 23 April 2017 (UTC)

Should these 2 items (for American military) be listed on this article, or should there be a separate list on Wikipedia? -- TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 04:09, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
This used to be between General discharge and Bad Conduct Discharge. What happened to it? This info should be in the article. 2601:647:5800:7D80:E02E:C4D7:9A3:C4B1 ( talk) 04:28, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
There is one discharge which has not been addressed. Given that these are military discharges, why has "Discharged Dead" been ignored? 204.237.88.206 ( talk) 23:11, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
