One could also consider a redirect to Great Migration. However I think the term mass migration deserves mentioning in Wikipedia. Especially, I think it should refer to the trans-atlantic mass migrations after the abolition of slavery, of Italians, Poles, Irish etc. to the USA and to Argentina and Brazil. Maybe reference should also be made to the Asian contract labour migration to the Caribbean. Now, little is written about that in the articles on human migration and great migration. Therefore, I would like to invite everyone to better the quality of this article, and to link to it from human migration and from 'great migration'. The Mass Migration article needs to address climate change. 2602:306:C529:5220:71CC:868F:D0AB:AA16 ( talk) 01:43, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Definitly. There is a very useful Special issue of MPI (Migration Policy Institute, 2020) with the title Climate Impacts as Drivers of Migration about this topic. I link this here for further use. -- Ai24 ( talk) 01:17, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
