This is a ruse. That becomes obvious to anyone with an Art History background. These works are very obviously derivative -- a child artist would not produce work so referential to specific strands of Modernism -- instead, a child prodigy would be more likely to have a style that seemed organically derived like Kieron Williamson. The article ought to reflect that. 38.112.4.154 ( talk) 18:35, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
I was thinking of writing to the artist's father and requesting pictures we could license under GFDL, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea given wikipedia's open-editing nature and section three of this article. Thoughts?-- Chaser T 17:06, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
I have added a couple of Marla paintings that I recreated in my free time. I hope you appreciate it! :) Ilovenewyorkcity ( talk) 23:45, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
They are my own work, and they are accurate. It is open source under the right to parody. She has no claim to my work, which I have released under Creative Commons. I will add them back now. Ilovenewyorkcity ( talk) 00:01, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
In the past few hours, only a couple of constructive edits were made. For what reason did agr run crying to the admins about a protection? This is clearly a violation of WP:GOODFAITH. There are no valid reasons for protection, and the images should be readded per the above reasoning. Ilovenewyorkcity ( talk) 01:14, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

There is language in this that comes straight from Olmstead's bio. Thought I'd make a note of it in case there was curiosity about the edit. The bio is at the link to the conference she appeared at in 2013. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.168.136 ( talk) 21:36, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
