I do not know who created this page for me, but it has been on Wikipedia for a long time. As originally written, most of the information was taken from my personal website at http://markturner.org or websites created by my university. I learn that over the years, Wikipedia has moved toward monitoring such sites, emphasizing the need for citations to third-party verification of everything on the page. I note that some editors are beginning to add such citations to the page. When I added some myself, the page was flagged with a conflict-of-interest alert, and the editor who did so kindly apprised me of the fact that accepted procedure would be for the subject of the page to propose edits on the talk page for inclusion by some other editor on the page itself. Accordingly, I place below citations to third-party sources for someone else to consider adding to the page:
