Can someone provide info on who "Hacker" is, and also what source they have for Main and Byington being an openly lesbian couple? In my research I have only found one book which speculated they were openly lesbian, and would like to make sure this is correct before modifying this entry.

There are a couple of books by Boze Hadleigh that make the assertion. So does this book:
[1]
From this source, it doesn't sound like she was actively a part of the Hollywood gay and lesbian scene, and she didn't openly acknowledge that she was a lesbian, leaving biographers and reporters to speculate about it.

Appearance on TV's "Perry Mason" in 1964? I think that's an error.
I think someone has confused Marjorie Main with a different actress. I find no evidence in IMDB that she appeared on that show in 1964. I have a great interest in show business, and have read about it for over four decades. My observation is that IMDB is usually pretty accurate on credits, especially for high profile performers, movies and TV shows. Where IMDB lacks credibility is the user-contributed "Biography" and "Trivia" sections. (I have contacted IMDB over some outlandish user contributions for "Trivia", told them that the assertion was absurd, and asked how that was approved by an IMDB editor? I received no response, but the wild claim was quickly removed.)
Is it OK to remove that appearance on Perry Mason sentence from this article?
