Critique on Article: Initial Recommendations
-- Spacepiece ( talk) 20:33, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
I think there should always be sections that can give insight on improvement and there are plenty of articles about what it would take to do that in different categories. I have one on fishery spaces and how making sure spacing is prioritized, but also thtat the spaces have actions to make sure they stay protected. https://nyaspubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/nyas.14651 — Preceding unsigned comment added by K1carter ( talk • contribs) 23:25, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
The introduction or lead section of the article is somewhat sparse in providing an explanation of the distinguishing features of the Marine Life Protection Act and its plans to address the shortcomings of previously established Marine Protected Areas in California. -- ALRueger ( talk) 02:54, 26 April 2022 (UTC)ALRueger
There are multiple instances of missing citations in this section. Especially noticeable lack of citations are found towards the end of the Marine Life Protection Act Implementation section, where a lot of information is provided about specific events and data that have no supporting peer reviewed publications to verify their credibility.-- ALRueger ( talk) 02:55, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
This section of the article is where I expected to see the utilization of a lot more research. This would improve the overall credibility and support the need for the Marine Life Protection Act. Additionally, the sources being used are now outdated and more recent scientific evidence is necessary. -- ALRueger ( talk) 02:58, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
