This source is using untruthful quotes from Israeli media. Wallström has never said "we must resort to violence", as has been widely reported in Israel, her words were that if nothing is done, the Palestinians will feel they have to resort to violence. I was not allowed to correct this historical revision, however. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.209.145.244 ( talk) 05:08, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Speaking as a professional qualified academic translator at Lund University, Wiki is using an incorrect translation which infers a semantic message not existent in the actual quote. The fact that the phrase begins with "där inte minst palestinierna ser att det finns ingen framtid för oss", i.e. "för oss/for us" proves she is talking about their thoughts. You are using a mistranslated untruth which is intended to infer something she never said by removing important pronouns and referents (removing text in a quote without marking it with ellipses f.ex is a strict no-no in all serious circumstances). At the very least, even a weak translation will not exclude the all important pronoun and should have at the very least written: "of which not the least the Palestinians feel that, 'we have no future'". The pronoun has been removed on purpose in Israeli media to portray an untruth, and has been widely used to pretend that she meant Sweden had to be prepared for violence against Israel.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.209.145.244 ( talk • contribs)
However, it is a fact of the physical world that Israeli media has unanimously removed the pronoun reference from her comment about "Palestinians see no future, and feel that, 'for us the only options are giving up in desperation or violence'" in every article I've seen at the major Israeli news sites, and also very often includes the heinous lie that she has accused Israel of blood libel, and often also includes the equally shockingly unbelievable and obviously untrue claim that she has encouraged Swedes to kill Jews. Naturally, I have not included this in the article and have only made sure that the quote is correctly translated. You may note that Jpost, f.ex., has branded her enemy no.1 of Israel, which supports the claim that there has been an Israeli campaign mounted against her. http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Politics-And-Diplomacy/Swedish-FM-Wallstrom-Israels-pariah-reportedly-linked-to-corruption-scandal-441649 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.209.145.244 ( talk • contribs)
The omission is intensely important, because by omitting the pronoun, this comment is being used to insinuate the untruthful misinterpretation to mean that Sweden has to be prepared for violence against Israel, rather than her actual words, which were that that was the Palestinian perspective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.249.4.255 ( talk) 08:31, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
