You've got to be kidding me. Lope de Vega is more of a feminist than María de Zayas. I'm going to substantially rework this to return this article to some semblance of balance and impartiality.

Style issues
Every single journal article I've read on Zayas (and that's a lot) refers to her in English as simply "Zayas". Therefore, for all future writers, please avoid the very akward sounding "De Zayas". Also, shouldn't we be actually translating the titles? I understand that the primary English translation (actually, the only full one that I'm aware of) is Boyer's, but unless we specify that, I think as editors we should provide a literal translation, and then perhaps add a footnote or simply point out in the bibliography that the English edition was given a different title.
