Hatnotes
Not for nothing, but we must distinguish
overline and
bar (diacritic) and provide a quick link across to them in the hatnotes. On the other hand, it's becoming an unwieldy mess there. Omicron is a completely different thing from o macron (its complete opposite, in fact), even if some visitors may accidentally mistype one or the other. Similarly, Emmanual Macron has nothing whatsoever to do with E macron except as a typo. Are either really necessary to discuss at the head of this article? I think they both run afoul of WP:UNDUE at this point. —
