"He narrowly missed becoming a victim of the Charlie Hebdo shooting because he overslept and was a half hour late to work."
I don't have the time at the moment, but this seems like a bit of an understatement given this Vice interview:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebL1oCy6tgY
If I am understanding him correctly, he didn't 'oversleep' so much as had too much fun celebrating his birthday, showed up literally just minutes after the gunmen had entered the building, not only saw the assassins exit the building but was shot at from a distance, and then entered the building (apparently before the paramedics arrived) and tried to administer first aid to some of his dying friends. He also mentioned that he is wearing a belt now because he didn't have one that day and they were needed for tourniquets.
It seems... relevant. -- It only works in practice ( talk) 05:29, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
