I am not a doctor. Neither a medical body. More over english is not my mother tongue. Can any one help me with an ordinary description about luteal phase and make grateful?
Chart needs to also show testosterone levels through the cycle.

This section is one-sided, myopic, and offensive. As a behavioral neuroendocrinologist, I deeply hope that this section is edited to make it impartial and that the new information is supported by empirical data. For example, this section would be better served by a description of the influence of gonadal hormones associated with the luteal phase and depression (also known premenstrual dysphoric disorder or late luteal phase dysphoric disorder). Holy inaccuracies, Batman. Sheesh.
IIn the aforementioned section that was and will be in the article, it has been brought to my attention that it is outdated and not following WP:POV. I am in the process of working with other editors to flesh out this section and make it not only more presentable, but also accurate and verifiable. Please see the following sources that I will be referencing for the upcoming re-write. I ask that no one deletes the section again, unless discussed here with a consensus, or no improvements are made in a reasonable amount of time (7 days). As part of a UCSF SOM education Wikiediting course, DB and RVM will be making edits through August-September 30th, 2021. Here is our revision plan:
WORK PLAN/OUTLINE:
Hormonal events
SEPARATE: Ovarian Cycle from “Hormone Events”
ADD: Follicular events
ADD: Uterine events
ADD: Changes with implantation (pregnancy)
REMOVE: Luteal phase defect
The updated luteal phase article has a solid introduction to the concept and does a great job separating the different phases of the menstrual cycle and clearly outlining the important yet other aspects of the luteal stage. The organization is easy to follow with the background information listed first and then the details of the hormonal events. As stated in your work plan, I agree that the luteal defects section does not belong on this page. In addition to removing the extensive material regarding basal body temperature and basal metabolic rate. Maybe consider adding more concrete details pertinent to the physiology and endocrinology of the luteal phase is more appropriate here. The graphic is a beautiful illustration of the different stages of the menstrual cycle. I am excited to see the final product! It is looking good so far Rainbowplants94 ( talk) 04:24, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
