The following Wikipedia contributors may be personally or professionally connected to the subject of this article. Relevant policies and guidelines may include

neutral point of view.
This
edit request by an editor with a
conflict of interest was declined. The reviewer would like to request the editor with a COI attempt to discuss with editors engaged in the subject-area first.
I work for Ludwig Cancer Research. Given my COI, I wanted to discuss the tag (“this article contains content that is written like an advertisement”), rather than making any direct edits myself.
The talk page says that several Wikipedia contributors may be personally or professionally connected to the subject of this article. I do not recognize any of these names. If someone knows how these people might be connected to Ludwig Cancer Research, please do let me know.
The talk page also suggests that some of the content in the article was promotional. Since the tag was added in June 2018, Natureium has made several edits to address this issue. I support these edits and do not seek to change them.
That being said, I respectfully request that a Wikipedia editor either remove the tag or address any outstanding concerns with the article so that the tag can be removed. Please let me know how I can assist.

Please consult assigning editor
Please consult the editor who
assigned the templates first, in this case Jytdog, in order to determine from them whether or not the templates may be removed. Natureium did indeed make edits afterwards, but they did not remove the templates at that time. Contact Jytdog to inquire about this, and in the unlikely event that you do not hear back from them, please open a new edit request for others to step in. This

Hi @
Spintendo: I left a message on Jytdog’s talk page on October 12, 2018 asking that they review my previous edit request and consider removing the tag. I have not yet heard back, so am opening up a new edit request for others to step in, as you suggested.
Here is the request again for reference:

I apologize that
Jytdog did not reply. He is one of our more busier editors, and its understandable that his plate might be full, which would delay his being able to answer right away. In his place I've looked at the article, and from what I can tell, there are several areas which resemble advertising. In order to recognize these elements it helps to be aware of 4 key components which are employed in many past and modern-day marketing campaigns.
A Founder's Success Story: "In the 1960s and 1970s, Ludwig was among the richest men in the world, with a self-made empire of some 200 companies globally." Infomercials shown on television in the past decades often feature the stories of their bright innovators, describing their financial windfalls and successes as an underdog story, and their paths towards success bringing new products and wonderful innovations to store shelves everwhere are inspirational to the customer. Similar to that tone, the article begins with the founder's success story, describing the great success and entreprenurial spirit which no doubt guides new research made in the present.
Several Convenient Service Locations: "Ludwig Centers — Baltimore: Ludwig Center at the Johns Hopkins University; Boston: Ludwig Center at Harvard University Medical School" Advertisements must make the consumer aware of their many close by and convenient locations, as well as those areas where the company is expanding its reach. These different areas served by a company stand as test to its reach, its influenece and its convenience. Likewise, this article lists its "branch locations" and even embellishes the locations with colorful flags of the countries served.
A Salesforce Dedicated to Success: "The executive staff manages the organization’s worldwide efforts. Edward A. McDermott, Jr., serves as the CEO and leads the executive management. McDermott has been with the organization since 1988 and assumed the role of CEO in 2010." Companies want the customer's relationship with the company to be highly valued. Making the customer personally aware of the different employees accomplishments and achievements is one way to increase a customer's sense of the value of those providing services for them. Likewise, the article lists the different executives who work hard everyday for research goals. Knowing the names of these individuals as well as their many accomplishments esteems the worth of that business connection in the customer's eyes.
Innovative Products and Strategic Alliances that Deliver Results:"Drugs based on these discoveries are today being tested to treat several types of cancer, including breast and lung cancer." To retain customer appreciation is not enough. A company must continue to innovate and deliver new products through the pipeline in order to satisfy new customer tastes. Likewise, the article recounts the many areas of new, innovative research which deliver these new products. Whether through self innovation, or strategic alliances with other providers, the article makes it clear that it is able to deliver these new ideas and innovations.
This is but a sampling of the tone of the article. This tone in the several areas just mentioned resembles that of old fashioned advertising, whether consciously placed or not. For this reason I believe that the template ought to remain in order to highlight those areas which need attention. Please note that maintenance templates are not badges of shame. Their appearance in articles are meant to help the article to address resolvable issues which would benefit from editor involvement, involvement which might not occur if the template were not displayed. Hopefully these issues can be addressed shortly. Regards, Spintendo 16:32, 1 November 2018 (UTC)reply
Thanks Spintendo. Yep per the list of single-purpose, promotionally-editing, and fairly obviously conflicted accounts that have worked on this page in the past, it is going to take a lot of work to make it decent. There are other things that are a higher priority for me. If Ludwig doesn't like it that the promotional content that they dumped into WP is now tagged as such, the swiftest way forward is learn the policies and guidelines (you can have a read of
User:Jytdog/How and start proposing well sourced, neutral content for each section of this page. But pleading with the community to clean up the mess that Ludwig made, is not a good look.
