Currently I can find no substantiation for the statement that Fles served on the 1928 Olympic Committee. I only find references to his participation in 1936 as "a member of the Executive Committee of the exhibition Olympiad Under Dictatorship, organized as an alternative to the connected to the Olympic Games in Berlin Art Olympiad. In the recommendation committee were among others Henri Polak, Willem Banning and William Flies." — Preceding
