Category:American slave owners
This label now seems to be pasted on to every American in history who ever owned a slave, however irrelevant to his notability. (You might as well have ‘American shotgun-owners’) It’s obviously meant as a political smear. It is non-encyc, and I feel that the category should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself.
