I did find this front and back box art which seems to show that it was released in Japan, but it has no associated proof other than the image:

Nealbo: Sources for the Japanese release date, 4 October 1996: Famitsu (

[5]) and the official PlayStation website (
[6]). Per
WP:VG/DATE, the infobox should only list release dates for English-speaking regions since the game was developed in the UK, so I suggest to add the Japanese release date in the prose somewhere. –
