This needs its own article; I can provide stunning orbital shots from NASA/JPL that show the scar of the mine; at first I thought it was an oblong cloud then I realized it was in all the images.....another mine in the same general to note needing an artice

Former company town?
IIRC this was originaly a company town, only later incorporatred, as with Tumbler Ridge and a few others. It's not a company town any longer, so like Kimberley and Trail and Tumbler Ridge it falls in a grey area - incorporated, but really a company town. Not sure what to cat this as; maybe there sholud be

Logan Lake, British Columbia →
Logan Lake – Name is unique as town name, no secondary uses exist other than the eponymous lake which is only notable as being the origin of this municipality's name, target is redirect to current title. Canadian disambiguation rules per CANSTYLE say unique town/city names take no disambiguation

I was gonna say, "oh there's more than two items so reconsider" then I saw "Lake Township, Logan County, Ohio, or "Lake, Logan, Ohio, USA", Lake, West Virginia, or "Lake, Logan, West Virginia, USA" which are, to say the least, a stretch/reach....and who's the 70.xxx.xxx.xxx IP user who's been stalking my contributions these last few days (and did a AfC for this dab page, which despite a two-month backlog there got created within 24 hours??; I smell a MEATPUPPET... "Lake Township, Logan County, Ohio" on a dab for "Logan Lake" is ridiculous...
WP:UNDAB I'll refer you to again, but ......

I reject your accusation of "stalking". Your requests show up in a listing called
WP:RM, there's no need to stalk you to tell that there are move requests open. As you already know that I hail from Canada, I find it strange that you don't think a Canadian would be interested in Canadian article page moves. I don't see what your problem is with listing "Lake, Logan" values, they have no relation to "Logan, Lake" or "Logan Lake" (only "Lake Logan" would be concerned with "Logan Lake") but they are related to "Lake Logan". If you're familiar with US political subdivisions, county level divisions are between state-level and municipal level. Many US articles are disambiguated by county because there's more than one location in the state with he same name. Not all those articles explicitly spell out "County" in the article naming. I never filed an opinion on this rename request. And if you were familiar with recent US pagemoves, you'd know that the addition and subtraction of "Township" from various US place articles has been happening over the last few months. As for the creation and the AfC backlog,
Josve05a (
talk·contribs) accepted the AfC request, not
Labattblueboy (
talk·contribs); I was not expecting it to be accepted in any quick turnaround. It wouldn't have mattered to the destination of this article, since it would not be occupying "Logan Lake" it would be occupying "Lake Logan", a completely different pagename. --
