Dutch used to be an official language in the former colony of Belgian Congo untill it’s indepedance. This isn’t shown on the map in light Blue color as it’s suposed to.

Oppose as unnecessary and because the rationale given is a non-sequitur. "Territorial entities" is more concise than "countries and territories", and there's no reason not to understand being a country to be mutually exclusive with being a territorial entity.

Comment regarding the first entry only: It should be "Afrikaans or Dutch" rather than "Afrikaans and Dutch", since there does not appear to be any one place where both are official languages.

Support the change from awkward "territorial entities" but Oppose "places" as being too general. "Official language" implies a more formal jurisdiction. Suggest "jurisdictions". --

Oppose all. This is getting ridiculous, I doubt very much per NATURALNESS "readers are likely to look or search for" a List of terrritorial entities of anything. We're using "entites" here to mean "some donkey or other that we can't quite pin its tail on" but that is not good enough. "Places" would perhaps serve better as at least being Latin, not Greek.

Support. This might help as in the Arabic page, territories are already listed seeing as Palestine and a list of other regions and states speak Arabic officially and are not official countries.

Oppose all Territorial entities includes Sovereign states, Dependent entities, Partially recognized and unrecognized territories, Former territories or whatever possible. No need to add country and then struggle to define what a country is.--

Oppose The term places in the proposed titles would have a much broader scope. Its meaning can vary among readers who are likely to have different points of view regarding the status of the territories that are mentioned in those articles. LSGH (

Rules of Procedure.Never change the question during the referendum. — It is not a good idea to change the original proposal when users already discussed and evaluated it, and this happened several times here. Now it is no longer clear which proposal versions users commented, supported, or opposed.
