this is a list of sea captains, not a list of military sea captains! If that's what you want, then create that page. ( RG 23:04, 22 February 2006 (UTC))
I merged in two lists that had sprung up in the Captain (nautical) article. The above post makes me wonder if there might be some opposition to this. If so, please let me know at my talk page and I'm sure we can work something out. Cheers. Haus Talk 20:21, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
The image Image:Fred Noonan.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
