A disaster doesn't have to be "notable" in the sense of having its own article, but to be listed should have at least a mention some place in wikipedia that we can link to. I removed a couple that did not.

if there are other wildfires on this list, then why is the one that happened last summer in the nwt that burnt a bunch of buildings and evacuated a bunch of towns not listed? -
