Various TYPO3 forks and refactorings/rewritings appear to gain importance. I believe it would be useful to add them. In particular the ``successor NEOS, https://www.neos.io/ see also https://symfony.fi/entry/refactoring-typo3-cms-neos-flow-and-symfony
So far there is no Wikipedia article on Neos, only a short section inside the typo3 article, /info/en/?search=TYPO3#Neos

In the cell with the databases, there are MySQL,Oracle and PostgreSQL equally listed. That miss the fact, that the main database is MySQL and the other are only additional. While it is perhaps possible to skip MysQL, it is a good choice to "shot yourself in the foot". I recommend to clarify it with: MySQL(main) Oracle,Postgresql(additional). 87.163.153.202 ( talk) 19:59, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
Fedora Commons should be removed from this list. It is not a CMS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.162.142.184 ( talk) 21:38, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

This is a list of NOTABLE CMSs, as judged by the existence of articles on Wikipedia. Please don’t add external links or wikilinks to nonexistent articles – instead, write an article to demonstrate notability. CMS without articles, redlinks, external links, and links to articles that aren’t about the CMS in question will be pruned periodically. Fill in the background info too, please, to make this article useful. Thanks.

Oops! didn't realise my addition of Zotonic referenced a page that was deleted a while back. I have requested that page be undeleted so my entry here can remain. If the undeletion request is unsuccessful, I will delete the offending entry. tav 23:19, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

Over time users come across up and coming CMS that have met the Notable requirement and need a page set up for them (A requirement for this list) and to be added to this list. Perhaps individuals can put the recommended CMS below so ones might understand why they are not already part of this list.
For example
PHP Name Platform Supported databases Latest stable release Licenses Latest release date CraftCMS PHP MySQL 3.3.18.3 ? 2019-12-17[±] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.247.30 ( talk) 01:29, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
The table's colour code is too subtle. Invisible, actually: I was completely unaware of its existence, until I noticed it mentioned in the sentence immediately preceding the first table: in the first column, the cell background colour is either light purple or cyan. Could we choose colours that contrast each other more strongly?

In recent years, GitHub became major player in the field of content management systems, with websites like MDN Web Docs relying on it. (see [3]) Uziel302 ( talk) 12:09, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
