Restored?

What does restored mean? Some like Kilkea have been lived in non-stop since the middle ages. Does it mean habitable? 86.42.216.49 ( talk) 17:57, 7 December 2011 (UTC) reply

Your answer

I think restored means that it has been brought back to appear like its original state. I don't think it means habitable. Kilkea, then, would have been restored so that it looked like it did in the Middle Ages. 24.225.89.81 ( talk) 15:05, 27 July 2013 (UTC) reply

considering the categories are "ruins" and "restored", perhaps there should be another classification for castles that are not ruins but also not restored to original specs
