Inclusion criteria
Note that this article includes artists from Brooklyn and those that have resided in Brooklyn at some point in time. The lead of the article clarifies this, and is presently written as "This is a partial list of artists who have resided in or originated from Brooklyn, the most populous borough of New York City." Then the criteria conflicts with the name of the article. The name is either a "list of artists from Brooklyn" or it's a list of artists "who have resided in Brooklyn at some point in time". You can't have it both ways.

I'm following the Wikipedia policies
WP:UNSOURCED,
WP:BURDEN, and
WP:V, not edit warring. Perhaps it is you who is edit warring? You are entitled to your personal interpretation of the word "from", but Wikipedia is supposed to be based on reliable sources and they say these people I removed are from somewhere else, not Brooklyn.

You removed someone who was born in Queens and relocated to Brooklyn to actually work there as an artist, and someone who began her art career in Brooklyn and then relocated to California. So in the one case you removed someone because they weren't originally from Brooklyn but moved there later, and in the other you removed someone who was previously from Brooklyn but then moved elsewhere. If you want to show us you have a good faith interest in improving this content, don't just blank content: add sourced entries, and discuss the ones you think are incorrect by also addressing the sources others present, not just your own cherrypicked ones. postdlf (talk)

I don't know how many times I have to say it but here we go again: if you find a
reliable source that says the individual is from Brooklyn it's verified that they are from Brooklyn. Otherwise it's your original research. Of course this is moot at the moment because the article is now "have resided in".
