Forgive me if I am being stupid but I cannot discern any logic in the question of which sentences are in the present tense and which are in the past. Since all these incidents have already happened, can't they just all be in the past tense? To my mind there's something odd, and perhaps slightly pseudo-journalese, about the present-tense ones. I'd rather see it all in the past (and am tempted to change them, if there are no serious objections) but at the very least the article should, surely, be internally consistent. Or is there a guideline or something?? DisillusionedBitterAndKnackered ( talk) 13:49, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

suppose the engine of plane or helicopter has stooped working at a higher altitude ,If we have a technology to prevent the plane or helicopter from crash by means of heavy parachute or a hot gas balloon to provide safety for occupants(passengers). what would happen, if we directly provide a parachute or a hot balloon to a plane and helicopter? sir, I need suggestion from your side this type of safe guard why not in use , whether it is possible or not , or not yet experimented . if any test of this technology has happened, please send me that data. {email removed) or contact me on my contact no. {phone number removed) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 183.83.235.105 ( talk) 08:22, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
I propose that this list is split in two, with the current title moving to List of accidents and incidents involving military aircraft (2000–2009) and a new list created for post 2009 accidents at List of accidents and incidents involving military aircraft (2010–present). I don'd think the Space Shuttle Columbia was a Military Aircraft. It was operated by NASA which is a government agency that is responsible for the civilian space program. It should be listed in only space-related accident lists. Rocketmaniac2 ( talk) 04:54, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
