Why is wikipedia fusing the Pokemon Pages together? Whats next, Pokemon's anime page fused with the article on japan? —The preceding

The separate Pokémon articles had useful information that is missing from this article. For example the Furret article had information about how the English and the Japanese names were formed. Should it be copied from the history page of the original article and put on this one?--

Basic information, nothing pertaining to gameplay information, which would be better suited for
Bulbapedia. (Though you can move the game info over there. Just make sure it's not a direct copy paste; word things differently and such.) -

I think Pichu needs his own article. He is more important than many ledgendaries as he has more roles and has appeared in many other non-Pokemon games such as
Super Smash Bros. Melee. The Pichu Bros. have a strong role in the Pokemon anime. Something should be done.

Talk about it on the main Wikiproject page. I'm not sure if that'd be enough to let it keep its own article, but probably worth asking. -

Removal of fair-use images from List of Pokémon series
Just a random comment: It is odd that the use of the Pokemon names (which are all copyrighted) is allowed, but that the attitude toward copyrighted images (which are just as much an identification as the names) is entirely different. This cognitive dissonance won't last forever. I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the future someone decides that talking about copyrighted things is unacceptable in an encyclopedia created under a CC license. I give it 5 years or so until the idea gains traction, maybe less.

Togepi
In the Togepi article, it says Togepi was the first 2nd generation pokemon to appear in the anime, but this is wrong. Ho-oh appears in the first episode, so Togepi is actually the second.
On Pichu's section it says it is unknown why he isn't in brawl, but a lot of people agree it is becasue he is a fairly unpopular pokemon who was identical to pikachu except he hurt himself whenever he attacked. Now, Mewtwo was unfairly removed (My opinion on that, not a fact), but Pichu had a good (widely excepted) reason. I think we should remove the "It is unknown why pichu ain't in SSBB".

What "a lot of people agree on" isn't unverifiable fact. It's
opinionated, and inadmissible according to Wikipedian policy. I'd suggest removing the fact that the character isn't in Brawl from the article entirely instead, a la the way Mewtwo has been handled (most of the time).

Togetic and Riolu, partners? Outside of a Mystery Dungeon Game? In the Giratina movie, of all places? Really, I never would have guessed...yeah right. It's funny, how pathetic these vandals are. They have nothing better to do than add misinformation on Wikipedia? Come on! Togetic and Riolu have only one thing in common: their evolved forms both learn Aura Sphere. I will make this vaguely defined and fake fact disappear as soon as I finish writing this rant.

About sudowoodo.
Is sudowoodo a pokemon created by Ken Sugimori? Many people
say yes, and many say no. I am confused on this, and since
you seem to be entirely knowledgeable on the subject of
pokemon, I humbly ask for your guidance

It is highly possible that it was designed by him to some extent. I know that for later generations, he oversaw other people designing them. I am not sure who exactly designed Pokemon back in Generation 2 days. I am not sure if there is a source out there that says who did it. There may be, but I can't recall any. Blake(

I check pages listed in
Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for
orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of
List of Pokémon (152–201)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not.
