The screenwriter Randall Wallace is listed as an alumni, but from what I can tell, he went to Duke and only spoke at a commencement. I can't find any supporting evidence he ever attended LU as a student.
link"Wallace attended Duke University..." and "“Dr. Jerry Falwell founded Liberty the same year I graduated from college." Did I miss something that suggests he was ever a student there? --

Did Randall Wallace attend Liberty as a student?
The screenwriter Randall Wallace is listed as an alumni, but from what I can tell, he went to UCLA as a student and was reported by Liberty to be involved with a film program at LU<ref>
link. As with Randall Wallace, is there any citation to support the claim he was an alumni (and not a faculty member or program founder) at Liberty? --

RfC: Should people who receive an honorary degree be included in this article?
There is a rough consensus for inclusion of recipients of honorary degrees. -

AlaskanNativeRU does demonstrate a broader consensus for inclusion of honorary degree recipients in lists of this type. The !vote of
Wolfy54 appears to misunderstand WP:BLP and has been accorded weight equivalent a simple preference. -

Keep Because you decided to edit and add this section as I was writing mine and ignored the warning, I'll copy and paste what I wrote before. This wiki page is for ALL people of the university. Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni, Honorary Degree Holders, and Others.
Oppose Holders of honorary degrees should not be included. Exclusion of this information would be consistent with the treatment of honorary degrees in Wikipedia BLP pages. If a person receives an honorary doctorate from an institution, BLP does not allow for that person to be referred to as having achieved a doctorate degree (i.e. they can't be referred to as "Dr." unless he/she actually earned a doctorate). The award is viewed as meaningless to BLP. Therefore, it should also be viewed as meaningless on the institution's alumni page.

Support / include (invited by the bot) The university has determined them to have that particular status. IMO the relationship of that status to a real degree / normal degree is not relevant to the question. Plus it likely to be of encyclopedic interest. North8000 (
