Image:Waspinator.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have removed the fair-use images on this page per non-free content guideline: "images on a list normally [do] not significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic," and the display of a fair-use image is permissible "only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic." These images are fine appearing on these characters' individual pages, but here they are decorative. This is also in keeping with the RfC at Talk:List of Beast Machines characters. -- EEMeltonIV 22:31, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Nearly the entirety of this list in its previous form was plot summary with very little real-world context or information. Given that this is a List of..., I removed the text (some of it word-for-word from the individual characters' pages) but left links to the various character articles, where hopefully more real-world information is provided. Please see WP:WAF. -- EEMeltonIV 22:31, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
The image Image:Csairazor.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

This article has way too many non-free images; per WP:NFC, even five images would be pushing the limits. Since I am unfamiliar with this show, I urge other editors to remove the images of the characters who are not as important (leaving no more than five); otherwise, I'll remove all but one (which should later be replaced by a group shot) in about one or two weeks. – sgeureka t• c 07:49, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
I have been browsing through some Beast Wars related articles of lately, and noticed that many of the articles based on characters do not meet Wikipedia's standards for Notability, WP:Verify|Verifiability]] , or fictional summaries . Specifically, subjects like “ Air Hammer”, “ Airraptor, or “ Noctorro”, were only toys, who only never appeared on the series. Most of Beast Wars related articles offer little real-world information, and only offer in-universe plot summaries. I attempted to to re-write the Dinobot (Beast Wars) article several months ago, but was unable to find any reliable third-party references. I fear this may be the case for several other articles as well.
I posted my concerns Wikipedia:Fiction/Noticeboard, and was told to hold a discussion (somewhere) to determine which articles should be left alone or merged into List of Beast Wars characters. In general, I agree with their suggestions, but I feel that some main characters, such as “ Optimus Primal” may be able to warrant their own article given their popularity, and thus increased likelihood of relevant third-party reliable sources-- StarScream1007 ►Talk 18:00, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Against. The pages not only cover character bios, but also toy information and the like. Merging it all into one article would make one hell of a large article. Makes sense to keep them separate. 209.106.203.252 ( talk) 03:46, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
