This is driving me crazy. Who keeps making seperate chapter lists for short series. Just keep a list on the main, until it becomes massive enough.....which won't be for a while. Kay'? –

Also, I think that the translations of the titles should be changed. Those are from the scanlation, which should have nothing to do with Wikipedia. Oh, by the way, have I met you before? You used my D.Gray-man userbox. –

I was the one who created the separate chapters list for this article when the article itself was first created. I did this intentionally mostly for the fact that over time, if the series continues, there's no need to keep chapter information in the main article. It basically inflates the article more than is necessary, or relevant to the actual article. The example of
World Embryo is a prime example. The chapter section takes up nearly half the article, yet really doesn't add anything truly explanatory to the article. Chapter information seems more supplementary and thus, why wait for a certain point to switch it over when it can be done right from the beginning. Also, Wikipedia has it's own sub-category of
Manga Chapters, so it would seem prudent to switch over information into this category now rather than later.

If the series gets canceled in five chapters, then there wouldn't be any problem merging it into the article is there? Then again, if a series ends in five chapters, there won't be much to write about in the main article anyway, right? You can't predict whether a series will be short or not. Besides, the Anime and Manga WikiProject has a very basic outline on when it's appropriate to add these types of sub-sections. "If a given list is long compared to the rest of the article, consider splitting it out to a separate article titled List of (series) episodes, List of (series) chapters, List of (series) novels, or similar. It is preferable to spin out in this way only one format at a time, rather than grouping all media together in a single list." As of right now it probably doesn't matter, but 10, 20 chapters down the line, if the article itself doesn't expand that much, what's the point of getting rid of this section if it's going to be expanded again?

World Embryo was a bad example. I myself don't believe it's going to be canceled any time soon. That makes it inevitable it will expand. Keeping it here now does seems like a good idea.

Yeah I was surprised that it hasn't received its own sub-section by now. This seems more like a personal preference issue than anything else. I personally prefer separating them out to have the main article set aside for more explanatory information about that series than on smaller particulars like names of chapters. I'm not sure any of you are in the WikiProject for Anime and Manga, but it might be helpful to maybe suggest guidelines on when it would be appropriate to expand something into its own section. Something like "After the first ten chapters" or "After the first bound volume release" might be more helpful than "long compared to the rest of the article".

The table
Is it necessary to list the French and German translations? And I think the Jumpland Manga Online should be moved to the lead. Any thoughts? ~
