Linda Kasabian got the "DEAL" of the century. ..
It's odd that through all of the MESS made during the Tate murders and the LaBianca murders for that matter, that a prosecution couldn't be delivered without L.K.'s testimony. . . But, I am sure that is only one of a multitude of eternal questions about Manson, and those defenseless innocents. I wonder what has happened to Linda Kasabian over the years, and her child, that poor child having to grow up knowing what her own mother took part in.
I took a look at that website - completely unreliable. Even the author states that the tabloid "The Examiner" wouldn't run his story because they said he couldn't even prove the subject was 'the' Linda Kasabian. Doesn't meet RS.

The "Life after the trial" section has been expanded. The above link is not considered a valid source to include since it does not include any verification or supporting material of its facts. The information can be gleaned from other sources. —Preceding

As a contributor to this and many other articles I encourage discussion about questions of neutrality, but there is no recorded dispute on the talk page. I have removed the top header question of neutrality but will gladly replace it if we can have a discussion about the question of neutrality including specifics. Thanks.

A lot of the information about Linda Kasabian ultimately came from Kasabian herself and much of it has not been (and possibly cannot be) verified by any reliable source. I am not comfortable necessarily that things that she has claimed are reported as unquestioned facts. She had the opportunity, and any number of possible motives, to fudge some of the facts regarding the extent of her participation, if she needed to.

huge chunks of this seem to be OR ?
This isn't my area of expertise, but there are many portions of this that are missing references. If there is a group of 'devotees' to these crimes, if they have it on their watchlist, they should try to tighten up this article.

Name origin?
Is there anything to be said about her choice of the Armenian name 'Kasabian', which comes from the Arabic for butcher or slaughterer?

propose removing the section and article tags re sources
The tags are very old, and I think it's far more useful and helpful to merely tag 'cite needed' to any claims that seem sketchy or need expansion for reliability. The 'reasonable person' standard should apply - if it seems far-fetched, tag it. if not, leave it be.

Unreliable source
User:Alaska4Me2 has been edit warring over text supported by
WP:DAILYMAIL, a source deprecated in February 2017. Alaska4Me2 added the following: "Since the late 1980s, Kasabian has been living in the Tacoma, Washington area and using the last name 'Chiochios'."
The edit is supported by two sources:
News Center Maine - "In 2017, an exclusive Daily Mail report found that Kasabian at age 68 was living in Tacoma, Washington, using the last name Chiochios."
Oxygen - "In 2017, the Daily Mail reported that she was living under the last name Chiochios in a low income apartment complex in Tacoma, Washington."
Not really a fan of you using the term "edit warring" against me. It has the tone of libel or slander when you consider that you were also reverting and without any discussion or questions asked first. Remember, you started the whole thing when you reverted ALL of my edits in one swoop. That looks more edit warring like to me. A4M2

The content in question is this:
Since the late 1980s, Kasabian has been living in the Tacoma, Washington area and using the last name "Chiochios". In a 2016 ::Rolling Stone article on the current status of Manson Family members still living, it was said she had been "living in near poverty". In his 2016 book Sharon Tate and the Manson Murders, author
Greg King recounted an October 1996 police raid by the Tacoma, Washington police department where Kasabian and her daughter, Tanya, had been arrested after discovering "rock cocaine and a large bundle of cash in a dresser drawer" along with a semi-automatic handgun and ammunition. According to King, Kasabian's daughter was tried and found guilty of possession of controlled substances and sentenced to serve time in a Washington state prison.
The references I included are:
Greg King's book with a mention of Kasabian and her whereabouts in the Epilogue

Alaska4Me2: I have struck out "edit warring". Specifically, what was your source to support "Since the late 1980s, Kasabian has been living in the Tacoma, Washington area and using the last name 'Chiochios'." Thank you.

The sources cited are considered reliable sources. I'm not sure why who those reliable sources choose to source would be an issue since the reliable sources are considered trusted sources in Wikipedia world. A4M2
