Her Spanish wikipedia entry is considerably more detailed. Anyone up for translating? E.g.,
"Caicedo grew up in Villagorgona, Valle del Cauca, Colombia with her parents Herlinda and Mauricio. Since she was little, soccer grabbed her attention, and her neighborhood streets were first witness to her great talents. Her parents supported her athletic passions, and at age 5 enrolled her in the school of Real Juanchito FC. This youth football academy was strictly for boys, but opened its doors for Linda, who was not bothered by playing only with boys. It was here that she polished her feints and shots on goals."
