The Leesburg Stockade is clearly independently notable. The Americus Movement article does not currently demonstrate the same thing — most of it is about the Leesburg Stockade. A two-year movement consisting of a single event is not much of a movement. The right thing to do is to expand the Americus Movement article with the (many) available sources to rescue it from its current sad state, not to take that sad state as a given and push another better article into the same hole with it. —
