The page title is not properly constructed. It implies that Lebanese people are Maronite Christians. In addition, calling Maronites a Maronite Christians is redundant (is there a Maronite Muslims?). A more descriptive title would people 'Lebanese Maronites' or 'Maronites in Lebanon.' — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazyketchupguy ( talk • contribs) 08:10, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
The first entry under this heading is not a proper sentence. 202.36.254.250 ( talk) 23:07, 17 August 2016 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasu よ! 05:23, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
Maronite Christians in Lebanon →
Maronite Church in Lebanon – Evidently there has been different opinions on this issue, judging from the article history. Thus a formal request is need in this case. Although this article in its current state enters the subject from a demographical perspective, as you can see, the framwork of that angle is still in the religious institutions, as seen in the other equivalents in
Template:Demographics of Lebanon. A scope of the national coverage of a church like this ought to be prioritised over the scope of a demographic prevalence. Also reflected as such in its title. Compare
Catholic Church in Lebanon rather than
Catholics in Lebanon.

Against - The article is about the Lebanese people belonging to the Maronite Church, not only about the Church. Meadulnan ( talk) 01:04, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
Oppose Two different topics. The Lebanese Maronite Church already has an article, its simply the Maronite Church and its based in Lebanon. This article is about the adherents, not the Church. The people were involved in things which the Church officially isn't or wasn't. DA1 ( talk) 10:46, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Lebanese people (Greek Orthodox Christians) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — RMCD bot 21:32, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

Reference 9 does not work, at least for me. (Reference 9 is this link: https://books.google.com.au/books?id=8Ogp94y8CJgC&dq=The+Maronites+in+History&source=gbs_navlinks_s&redir_esc=y). I couldn't find a way to access it for free either through the google books search, maybe it was previously free but no longer.
