Ok, now I've discovered that she died in 2017, which i swas going to add, but ther is in fact a superior wikipedia page under the name Hiep Thi Le. Help?

She couldn't have been born "Phung Thi Le Ly Hayslip", so I changed it. FernNation 23:31, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
The link to the San Diego Reader article seems to be dead. However, I found another article in the same website published in 2005 about her award being cancelled due to the efforts of a Vietnamese-American assemblyman [1]. DHN ( talk) 23:15, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
