Itliong is commonly known as a Filipino American labor leader. See [1], [2], and [3]. That he was born in the Philippines does not mean he was not a trade unionist in the United States or of Filipino descent. He descended from Filipinos and organized in the United States and is thus correctly categorized. User:Place Clichy, it is inappropriate to empty a category and then nominate it for speedy deletion.
