Also, regarding notability: (1) This is a very apparent phenomenon which can occur anywhere in the universe where (a) sessile phototrophic organisms spreading through spores/seeds(plants) and (b) some form of normally dark, open geologic features(caves) containing a light source exist. (2) Its negative and destructive impact on ancient human artifacts, natural cave organisms and geological features makes it a very important problem.

On notability, there are several hundred appears found by Google Scholar using the term (with a substantial number with it in the title); there are another 100 using the French term la maladie verte.

The link to the Lurgrotte website needs repairing. (But I've failed to find the relevant page therein with a Google search; it may be necessary to got to the Wayback Machine.)
So it turns out that there was actually another page regarding this subject, titled Lamp-flora. I think it would be best to redirect that page here since searching for "Lamp-flora" on google returns nothing related to the subject, while "Lampenflora" does. There's nothing really interesting in that stub except for a few sources which could be scavenged for factoids.
