Since this station never really operated as a New Jersey Transit station, the article should be renamed
Montclair Lackawanna Terminal. Additionally, there should be some clarification on whether it was built in 1912 or 1913. ----

I added a reference for it opening in 1913 (an
article in the New York Times from 1913). I agree that the article should not have its current name - it closed in 1981 before NJT took over the line in 1983, but I don't think "Montclair Lackawanna Terminal" would be the best title. First, was this known as "Lackawanna Terminal" or "Lackawanna Station?" Based on the pictures of the inside of the mall and the arch outside, it seems like it is currently known as "Lackawanna Station". Also, I do not think the station was ever called "Montclair Lackawanna Station" (or "Terminal"), but rather Lackawanna Station/Terminal in/at Montclair. Similar to the
Pennsylvania Station articles, I think "Montclair" should be in parentheses as in
Lackawanna Station (Montclair) or
Lackawanna Terminal (Montclair).
Lackawanna Terminal currently is a redirect to
Hoboken Terminal. Maybe it should be turned into a short overview page with links to all of the Lackawanna terminals/stations. --
