Salahadin Bahadin decided to step down as the KIU’s long-standing leader and make way for new blood. Mohammed Faraj was elected as the new KIU leader.

Hello - the links used to support the claim about the KIU joining the Muslim Brotherhood in 2015 (the last section in the article) do not mention the KIU at all... I have yet to find any hard proof that the KIU is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood anywhere (though there does appear to be some affinity). I am new to wiki editing and do not feel comfortable making edits myself yet. — Preceding
