The {{nihongo}} template in the lead presents "Kuma-tan Zoo" as if it were a romanization of くまたんち - I'm assuming it's a translation, and that {{nihongo|'''''Kumatanchi'''''|くまたんち|extra="Kuma-tan Zoo"|lead=yes}} would be correct
Done.
"Upon release" is an unnecessary construction in most circumstances, unless you're using it to contrast with pre-release reception
Done.
Gameplay
tasked with looking after (...) tasked with managing - would recommend rewording one or both of these to avoid repetition of the phrase in such quick succession
Done.
I question whether including the Japanese terms for the head pat and the forehead flick really adds anything for readers
Removed.
Development and release
a more adult perspective comparable with the style of Shimoneta. - unclear what this means even with the link
Removed.
an earlier dojin product - earlier, you rendered the word with a macron. Additionally, it should be italicized per
MOS:FOREIGNITALICS
Did my best to rephrase it, and follow the styling guide.
Reception
Joystiq should be italicized, as the name of a creative work
Done.
Otherwise this looks fine. It's on the short side, but I guess that's how it is with these smaller releases. I did find
this Dragon's Crown review from 4players, where they mention Kumatanchi as the one exception among all of Vanillware's games, that did not have their "extraordinary" sense for art design, which you may want to implement to flesh out the section a little bit.
Added.
References
Looks fine in terms of reliability
Images
Both images seem fine, both in terms of use and in their non-free use rationale
Not mandatory for GAN, but I'm noting it anyway
I would strongly recommend adding brief alt text to all images to aid readers with impaired vision
Put in alts.
The ref formatting is inconsistent (sometimes the website is listed as the publisher, sometimes the publisher is listed as the website)
Sorted.
Looks pretty good! I will put this on hold for the standard seven days - ping me when you have addressed the issues, or if you have any questions. Thank you~!--

As far as I'm aware, Kumatanchi has never had a PC release, Hasbro being involved in development, or an English translation. Can anyone find a source for any of these claims?

Protect1835, you have not provided any evidence for any international release or even existence of a PC port. Attempts at finding this information for myself has yielded no credible results or dumps, only other wiki pages that were edited or aggregation sites that obtained this false edit. If you wish to make changes, cite a credible source detailing this edition.
